Getting regular feedback on what you paint is an incredibly good way to develop your painting. Having someone else's eyes on your painting will both strengthen you, the painting is often MUCH better than you think and you will also get a new perspective on the painting and tips on, for example, where you can enhance or tone down details.

As a participant in my painting courses, you have the opportunity to regularly, week after week, receive this type of feedback. Every week I give live feedback and review the paintings that the participants have posted since the last time, and this feedback is usually very appreciated.

Even if you don't post new paintings every week, you will learn a lot and get inspiration from the feedback I give to other participants.

What kind of feedback do I give on a painting?

For some, it's about me helping to signal that the painting is starting to get finished (do you recognize yourself painting and painting but never finishing? 😇).

For others, it may be about me giving feedback on where you can add more light to the painting to make it pop more.

For a third, it might be more about not getting caught up in the details and making larger brushstrokes on the abstract painting that is no longer abstract.

And many times there are concrete tips on how a detail can be enhanced using shadows and layers upon layers to create more life and depth in a painting.

Sometimes it can be uncomfortable to share a painting before it's finished, but it's when you dare to show off what you've done that you also develop in your painting!
