Golden Rhythms – A Journey in Color - Print on Canvas - This painting is available in several different sizes and with and without a frame. I have painted an incredible number of layers on this painting before I felt completely satisfied. However, all these layers create a depth that cannot be achieved with just one or two layers of paint. I have painted the last layer with oil paints and as the icing on the cake I have added gold leaf. I started working with gold leaf during my time in Kuwait where I lived and worked as an artist around the year -96. There I often went to art exhibitions and various contexts within the art to get to know other artists and was inspired by the Arab artists who often used gold leaf in their artwork.
